Assigning an AI employee and its local AI to your compute box works
In Compute Resources, Assign Brain now picks one of your AI employees for your own compute box, Apply Recommended Local Setup moves it onto the box, and the box keeps the local AI you choose for its answers.
What you get
- Assign Brain picks one of your company's AI employees for the box. The node card then shows that employee's runtime controls and the recommended setup. Until you apply the setup, the employee keeps answering from VEP Cloud.
- The local AI you choose for the box is now saved, and with the Native Local LLM runtime the box answers with it. Only an AI installed on the box can be chosen; if it is not installed, you are told so instead of seeing a success message.
- Apply Recommended Local Setup runs the employee on your box with the Native Local LLM runtime and keeps its knowledge, files and private data in VEP Cloud. The card says that while the box is offline, the employee does not answer.
