Your own compute box keeps its VEP agent up to date by itself
The VEP agent on your own computer now installs new versions by itself: it finishes the work that is running first and returns to the previous version if a new one does not start.
What you get
- The VEP agent on your own computer checks for new versions by itself, also while it is disconnected from VEP, and installs one when it has nothing to do.
- When an update arrives, the agent finishes the work that is running, then installs the new version and restarts. It takes no new work until it is back.
- A new version is checked and prepared next to the working one and switched in only when it is ready. If it does not start, the agent returns to the previous version by itself, and a version that fails is not retried over and over.
